“The customer” referred to in the terms and conditions is “you”, the buyer/person placing the order.

I. Bookings

(a.) Fitment times are 08h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. 

(b.) Next day tyre fitment is a service provided to fit new tyres the next business day, however availability of the tyres or location of the customer may render this not possible. Customers only in Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and Johannesburg – excluding outlying areas may request the services of Driveway Tyres as that is the geographical area of operation. 

(c.) Booking time and dates will be arranged within 24 hours of customer purchses. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Contact infomation and fitment address. Driveway Tyres does not accept any liability from incorrect infomation provided by the customer. 

(d.) Order confirmation will confirm the orders details made by the customer, products purchased, contact details and fitment address. This however does not bind Driveway Tyres into a contractual agreement. Driveway Tyres upon review of order details will contact the customer if the service and products can be rendered to the customer. Adverse weather or location may result in services or products unable to be supplied or rendered.

II. Cancellations | Rescheduling

(a.) The customer may cancel or reschedule a fitting appointment. The customer must inform Drivway Tyres by phone or email within 1 business day of the scheduled appointment. If the customer misses an appointment and had not given prior notice of cancellation or updated Driveway Tyres about changes, Driveway Tyres reserves the right to charge 20% of the total order payment.

(b.) Cancellation or refunds for goods paid in advance on the website will be paid within 14 business days after notice of cancellation or refund. Refunds are made by EFT or payment method used to place the order if no extra costs will be incurred. Once work has commenced or costs have been incurred, the customer waivers their right to cancel. 

(c.) Fitting appointments may be canceled or rescheduled by Driveway Tyres. Driveway Tyres reserve the right to cancel any appointment  made by Drvieway Tyres or the customer. Driveway Tyres is not liable for any inconvenience or compensation suffered for cancellation or rescheduling for any reason. 

(d.) Driveway Tyres will endevor to arrive and complete the work within the estimated time. Driveway Tyres accept no liability for delays or complications. Expected delays will be communicated to the customer as soon as possible. Bookings are not a contractual agreement and Driveway Tyres will not be liable for failure to deliver goods or services. Alternate arrangements if needed to be made, will be confirmed first with the customer. 

 

 

III. Website | Orders

(a.) Driveway Tyres cannot guarantee acuracy of pricing or availability of products on the website. All products and services are subject to change without notice. 

(b.) Driveway Tyres reserves the right to make any alterations or corrections to the website at any time for any reason without liability.

(c.) The customer placing an order or submitting proof of payment for goods and services are deemed as making an offer to purchase. Driveway Tyres will send the customer an automated confirmation of your order details however this is not acceptance of your order. 

(d.) Driveway Tyres will contact the customer within 1 business day to confirm acceptance of the order or decline the order for any reason. If there are any changes that need to be made to the order, description of the product, incorrect pricing or unable to deliver or render services. 

(e.) Driveway Tyres reserves the right to amend the customers order to offer an alternative product if the products ordered is unavailable or incorrect pricing or description of the product. 

(f.) Errors may occur on the website, products listed in error or incorrect pricing. If this does occur it may result in cancelling the customers order. Driveway Tyres will refund the customer price paid.

(g.) It is the customers responsibility to make sure correct tyres are ordered on the website. Driveway tyres may charge a 10% handling fee in the event of the tyres are not compatible with the vehicle. 

IV. Payment

(a.) Payment for goods and services will be accepted before any good are supplied or services rendered to the customer. 

(b.) Driveway Tyres uses Payfast as a payment gateway for online transactions. Payfast provides different methods of payment to Drivway Tyres from the customer. Driveway Tyres will not be held responsible or drawn in to any disputes the customer may have relating to payments made through Payfast.

V. Safety | Warranty | Damages

(a.) Customers are to check their vehicle’s wheel nuts after 80km to ensure torque settings remain set and wheel has seated correctly.

(b.) If a tyre is faulty a new one would need to be purchased as a replacement while the faulty tyre is sent to the manufacturer for inspection. If the tyre is deemed faulty the manufacturer will issue a refund for the tyre. 

(c.) Driveway Tyres will take upmost care of the customers vehicle and any parts of the vehicle. Driveway Tyres will not be held responsible for any damages caused to the customers vehicle or any of the parts of the vehicle. 

(d.) Driveway Tyres does not provide wheel alignment services.

(e.) If the vehicle if fitted with locking wheel nuts that needs to be removed. Driveway Tyres is not held responsible for any damages caused by Driveway Tyres or a 3rd Party in removing the locking wheel nuts. This process is not guaranteed to work.
